Replace the tax system with a 1% transaction tax
Its central first-term priority is replacing the existing tax structure with a 1% transaction tax, which the party says would substantially reduce tax complexity and compliance costs, while the wider monetary framework is reviewed.
Temporary halt on all immigration
Party policy is to implement a temporary halt on all immigration so infrastructure can catch up, with exceptions for highly skilled workers, and to reform refugee resettlement and reject the UN Migration Pact. In 2026 it said immigration settings should reflect infrastructure capacity and the interests of existing communities.
Reject climate change policy and exit agreements based on 'dubious science'
The party's environment policy calls the climate change narrative a hoax and says it would withdraw from any international agreements based on what it calls dubious science. It also supports prohibiting aerial spraying of toxins, 1080 poison and fluoridation.
Withdraw from the UN, WHO and World Economic Forum
Would withdraw New Zealand from international organisations and agreements it judges to threaten sovereignty, naming the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the World Economic Forum, and instead negotiate bilateral agreements directly with individual countries.
